California Condor in the Neighborhood

Nowadays the California Condor don't really have much of a relationship with humans for their habitat is mostly in mountains and on national parks.  The only time they encounter humans is from a distance if someone is bird seeing.   Historically though they were very popular with Native Americans.  Many Native American tribes tell stories involving the California Condor.  Some tribes such as the Wiyot of California  viewed the Condor as good saying it recreated mankind after a flood wiped it out.  Other such as the Mono told stories that the Condor was a destroyer, and seized humans.
